Cycle on Bucky Fuller. Conference

As part of the exhibition Bucky Fuller & Spaceship Earth, Ivorypress held a series of conferences to reflect on the life and work of the architect and designer Richard Buckminster Fuller.

These conferences could be watched in real time on our website. The times of Bucky Fuller. The first conference took place on 9 September 2009, and participants included Thomas Zung, an architect and partner of Fuller’s, and Norman Foster and Luis Fernández-Galiano, the exhibition curators. Bucky Fuller today: his influence on architecture, contemporary art, and science. The second conference was held on 11th September 2010 at 9.00 pm, coinciding with Madrid’s Noche en Blanco (a Europe-wide cultural event). This conference focused on the influence of Fuller’s ideas on a new generation of architects, and participants included Benedetta Tagliabue, Juan Herreros and Alejandro Zaera Polo. Luis Fernández-Galiano was moderator.
