The works of Landa García Landa published in this book make up a fine sampling of the best of recent Mexican architecture. In just a short time, the team from Monterrey made up by Agustín Landa, Roberto García, and Ignacio Landa has produced an exemplary body of work, both functional and didactic, solidly founded on a tried and true methodology and a mastery of the discipline. Their work represents a “styleless” modern architecture that nevertheless is easily recognizable and enormously varied, embracing a wide range of typologies, scales, and functions.
