First edition, presentation copy. Labyrinth was issued to coincide with Long’s exhibition at the Städelschen Kunstinstitut in Frankfurt Am Main. It contains a series of photographs taken of lanes in Bristol, each photographed from the same angle and framed in much the same way with each ending in a turning as opposed to a vanishing point. The result is that ‘we are drawn into the two things that absorb walkers: the state of the road ahead and where we are going’ (Parr).
