Jo volia ser fotògraf, I wanted to be a photographer, is a collection around four hundred photographs that Roger Guaus has taken between 2005 and 2016. This selection is the testimony of the work that he has accomplished to be a photographer. The title I wanted to be a photographer comes up from a previous work, L’inassolible, The unreachable, (Ca l’Isidret Edicions, 2012) where the author stated « I want to be a photographer » overprinting this text on his self-portrait. From the wish to be a photographer, being a fulfilled goal or an unattainable desire, the reader will give the final sense to the sentence « I wanted to be a photographer » that gives title to this work.
