Booksigning with Moby

28 / 07 / 2011

The American electronic music artist Moby presented his new album and photography book Destroyed at Ivorypress on last Thursday, 28 July 2011 at 20:00 p.m. The book, published by Damiani, is a hardback edition composed of 55 photographs taken by Moby all over the world and includes the album Destroyed.

Destroyed is a behind-the scenes international odyssey with Moby, introducing us to a side of touring that is often unexposed; secluded time spent in artificial spaces like hotel rooms, airports, and backstage waiting areas. The album and photobook combination provides an intimate look at Moby’s world and his creative process; both the music and photos were created during the same period and draw inspiration from the strange and sublime world of touring. Moby has been taking pictures as long as he’s been making music, and to this day he carries a camera wherever he goes. A selection of his photo works was on display after the presentation and was on sale at Ivorypress until the end of July 2011.
