Los Carpinteros at the XI Biennial of Havana

Conga Irreversible is the title of the performance that Los Carpinteros presented at the edition of the Havana Biennial held from 11 May, 2012 in that city. The works were designed to be shown three times during the event. On 11, 19 and 26 May at 17:30 pm a traditional carnival troupe was held at the Paseo del Prado whose actions subverted the usual dynamics of this type of celebration. The project had the support of the Grupo de Danza Banrará and its director Isaiah Riga, the designer Abraham Garcia, the film director Pavel Giroud and the composer Yosvany Terry. Ivorypress was the sponsor of this project.
